Speaking on the occasion, the First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vo Van Thuong said that activities in the “Youth Month” will stamp a new mark on the youth union campaign.

This year’s youth month will be held with a wide range of activities such as launching the campaign “Vietnamese youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings”, strengthening the emulation programme for national construction and defence, and encouraging youths to participate in socio-economic development, and national security and defence.

After the ceremony, participants visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and joined in planting trees and cleaning up the environment.
