Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam has opened a new wholesale centre in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Hiep Phu centre, the seventh of Metro Cash & Carry in Vietnam, was built at a cost of US$15 million. It provides the market with 15,000 items of food and non-food products.

The centre, which has a 6,000 s.q.m. trading area and a car park capable of accommodating 800 cars, can service 3,000-5,000 customers a day.

Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam began its wholesale activities in Vietnam in 2002 with a series of centres operating in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City.
