Participants in the event included VOV Director General Vu Van Hien and other senior VOV officials.

Addressing the ceremony, meritorious teacher Duong Van Tuan confirmed that in the last 50 years, Television Broadcasting College I has developed well with its teachers’ dedication. In 2010, the college has 700 students enrolled.

Speaking at the anniversary, VOV Director General Vu Van Hien acknowledged achievements as well as the positive contribution of teachers and students of the Television Broadcasting College I have achieved recently.

He also encouraged teachers and students to develop more and strive for greater contribution to the field of television and broadcasting over the country in general and Voice of Vietnam in particular.

Also, at the event, Voice of Vietnam announced State President’s decision to award the title of meritorious teacher to Nguyen Thi Thanh. Other awards for individuals and collectives with good achievements in 2009-2010 academic year were given.
