VEC deploys digital solutions for new expressway

VOV.VN - State-owned Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) has announced it is deploying smart city digital solutions to enhance the experience for visitors travelling the Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway.

The novel project will have multiple components ranging from smart wi-fi, smart parking, smart lighting, and traffic analytics at key junctions.

Data collected from 68 surveillance cameras along the Ho Chi Minh City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway in southern Vietnam will be analyzed by a control center for real-time analysis of traffic situations.

Vietnam, Laos to speed up Hanoi-Vientiane expressway project

Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport and Laos’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport are set to take the next steps to soon implement the project on building an expressway linking capital cities Hanoi and Vientiane in 2017.
