Upcoming events calendar for HCM City

VOV.VN - So it's April and time to celebrate the arrival of spring with a trip to the beach and start hashing out warm weather plans and figuring out things to do on a rainy day in or around Ho Chi Minh City.

At a press conference yesterday (Apr. 13), Tran Vinh Tuyen, vice chair of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, reminded everyone that there’s a fireworks display coming up on Reunification Day (April 30), a food festival May 25-28, and southern fruit festival June 1-11.

Other events further out include the Vietnam International Tourism Mart 2017 (September 7-9), a fashion festival (September 14-16), a lion dance festival in late September, a marathon in November and a lighting show in mid-December.
