Vietnam Airlines has increased the number of its domestic flights on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet), with 128 flights from January 20-28 and 98 flights from January 29 to February 8.
The number of local passengers on major air routes also increased by 50-100 percent on the occasion of Tet. The number of passengers surged by a massive 350 percent on the HCM City-Da Nang air route and 160-200 percent on the HCM City-Hue air route.
Vietnam Airlines has also announced a discount rate VND1,100,000 for a one-way fare for the HCM City-Hanoi route from February 1-10 as part of a promotion programme.
