Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Department of Health reported 10 small outbreaks in Vung Tau city, Long Dien district and Ba Ria town. All outbreaks have been contained. Dengue fever patients have been hospitalised and no deaths have been reported.

In Binh Phuoc province, 181 people contracted dengue fever, most of whom are under 15 years old. The provincial Centre for Preventive Healthcare launched campaigns to stamp out dengue fever outbreaks in the province, with a focus on Phuoc Long district and Phu Rieng Rubber Company. The province has mobilised local people to clear up the surrounding environment to prevent outbreaks.
