More than 150 businesses, mostly run by Chinese, are showcasing their products on over 350 stalls at the Cho Lon Trade Fair, which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on November 9.

Participating businesses, including joint venture companies and those from Guangdong, Guangxi and Guizhou City in China, have developed strong and reputable trademarks.

The fair aims to promote business products and trademarks and provide a good chance for participating businesses to seek domestic and foreign partners.

Apart from displaying products, China’s traditional culinary art is also being introduced to visitors.

In her address at the opening ceremony, vice mayor Nguyen Thi Hong affirmed that the municipal authorities will create the best possible conditions for businesses, including those run by Chinese, to invest in all socio-economic development areas of the city. She said the city is ready to listen to and iron out snags to meet businesses’ prime requirements.

The fair will end on November 13.
