The Mega-F Diamond Cruise Ship chartered by FTV is travelling around the world to select models for a modelling broadcast that will be aired on the international cable channel.

The cruise arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on November 6 after stops in several Asian countries including Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.

Aboard the cruise were more than 150 models of many nationalities.

“This is the first time FTV’s five-star cruise has come to Vietnam, aiming to search for Vietnamese models for the Miss FTV 2007 contest,” Thanh Long, director of PL Model Company, said.

FTV initially selected 10 models from 25 sent by PL and short listed to four for the model contest to be broadcast on FTV.

Vietnamese models Vu Thu Phuong, Thanh Hoai, Ngoc Quyen and Hoang Diep will take part in the Miss FTV contest in Thailand November 13-27.

The four models have taken part in many fashion shows organised in Vietnam and abroad over recent years.
