The competitors include martial artists from Hanoi, HCM City, Dong Nai and the Police team, such as 2011 world amateur champion Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat and defending champion Phan Thi Ngoc Linh.

The tournament is a good opportunity for the Vietnamese martial artists to improve their skills before competing at the Asian Muay Championships in December at Rach Mieu Gymnasium in HCM City.
