Top Vietnamese player Nguyen Tien Minh has moved two notches up to 10th position in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings after one month.

With his 54, 204 points, Minh now needs another 4,000 points to become world No.8. This is a huge challenge for him as his rivals will compete fiercely for berths to the 2012 London Olympics.

Minh has already secured a place as players in the top 50 are all qualified for this Summer Games.

Meanwhile, Vietnam’s doubles Bang Duc and Manh Thang (World No. 54) are also hopeful for attending the tournament.
