Vietnam’s New Investment Law in three languages - Vietnamese, Korean and English - was introduced at a seminar in Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK) on June 22.

This is one of the first Vietnamese laws that have been translated into Korean and published in the RoK.

The seminar was organised by the Vietnamese Embassy, the honorary Vietnamese Consulate General in the RoK and the Vietnamese economic research institute of the RoK.

Speaking at the event, attended by more than 150 representatives of RoK businesses, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Pham Tien Van highlighted Vietnam's achievements in economic development over the recent past. He stressed that the Vietnamese government always attaches importance to the renovation policy and the promoting of international integration.

The RoK is one of Vietnam's most important trade partners and many RoK businesses have invested profitably in Vietnam, Ambassador Van said, adding that the translation of the Vietnamese Investment Law into Korean will help RoK businesses better understand Vietnam’s current economic situation and investment promotion policy.
