Vietnamese photographers outshone their rivals from 44 countries and territories worldwide at the 14th Macau International Salon of Photography, which closed on May 13.

Le Hong Linh brought home the Macau Trophy (best set) for his black and white photo “Fishers.”

Meanwhile, La To Hue’s colour-print, “To Embrace,” received a Silver Trophy and Pham Duc’s “Help” won a Bronze Trophy and a bronze medal.

Hoang Quoc Tuan’s “Reflecting Eyes” won a gold medal for the best portrait monochrome print from the International Art Photography Federation (Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique – FIAP).

Tuan’s teammates secured a silver medal and an honourable mention conferred by FIAP. They also bagged two silver and four bronze medals from the contest.

The competition is organised biennially by the Photographic Society of Macau under the sponsorship of FIAP and the Photographic Society of America (PSA). This year’s contest drew 2,000 entries from 500 artists. The photos will be exhibited in Macau from June 23-29.
