The Japanese Government signed a contract on December 10 to give aid to hearing impaired children at the Thuan An Centre for Handicapped Children in the southern province of Binh Duong.
The US$105,870 contract aims to build a two-storey house with ten special education rooms, to help the children develop their listening and speaking capabilities to enable their integration into the community.
Founded in 1976, Thuan An Centre is the biggest care centre for hearing impaired children in the South.
