An agreement to this effect was signed in the capital city of Hanoi on September 20.

The project will build a two-storey infirmary on a site of 630 sq.m to replace the old facility, which was constructed 40 years ago.

The project is expected to significantly improve healthcare services for 11,000 local people in Yen Cuong commune, said Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Tanizaki at the signing ceremony.

The ambassador expressed his hope that through the project, the Japan-Vietnam friendship and mutual understanding would be further deepened.
