Value of trade with Mexico hits 10 year high

(VOV) - The Vietnam Embassy in Mexico has reported total commercial trade with the North American country for the 10 months leading up to November 2015 has hit US$1,693 billion, a 10-year record high.

Commercial Counsellor Hoang Anh Dung revealed total exports tallied in at US$1,292 billion while imports registered US$401 million, resulting in a trade surplus for the period of US$891 million.

The country’s key export items for the period were footwear, clothing, aquatic products, electronic goods, coffee and rubber while imports principally consisted of iron and steel, computers, and animal feed.
