Talented violinist to play in Hanoi

(VOV) - The talented young violinist, Le Hoang Nam, will perform in the Toyota Classics 2012 concert at the Hanoi Opera House on November 4.

The concert will also feature some well-known musicians from the Vienna Orchestra, including Japanese guitarist, Soichi Muraji, performing famous romantic music under the baton of conductor Joji Hattori.

Le Hoai Nam was born in Hanoi and began studying the violin at the age of seven. He is a currently a lecturer at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and also works with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta Orchestra.

He played the Thang Long concerto by Dam Linh, one of Vietnam’s most famous composers, during a tour of the USA in 2009.
