Consumer confidence index increases in Q3

(VOV) -According to reports from the market research company Nielson, Vietnam’s consumer confidence index (CCI) has recorded the most promising recovery rate since 2012.

The country‘s CCI hit 97 points in the third quarter of 2013, a two point increase from the previous quarter.

Nearly half of Vietnamese respondents were optimistic about their job prospects and one in two consumers expressed confidence in the future financial outlook.

Indonesia took the lead in the CCI with 120 points closely followed by the Philippines (118 points), Thailand (112 points), Malaysia (101 points), and Singapore (98 points).
