Vietjet Air welcomes first A321 aircraft

(VOV) - On March 22, the first A321 aircraft of the low-cost carrier Vietjet Air-Airbus’ 9000th aircraft coded VN-A651 landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The fifth aircraft is from the order for purchasing and leasing 100 planes between Airbus and VietJet. The new aircraft was financed by France’s BNP Paribas Bank from France and Japan’s Jackson Square.

A handover ceremony was held in Hamburg, Germany in the presence of Airbus Vice President Nico Petersen and Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh.

The 220 seat- A321 ceo Sharklets belongs to the latest generation of Airbus’ narrow body jets, that helps save fuel and minimize noise emission.

The modern Airbus A321 has lifted Vietjet Air fleet to 23, thus improving the quality of service and runninglongerair routes to the Republic of Korea, Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
