Bac Ninh: Heroin transporter arrested
Customs and police officials of the northern province of Bac Ninh on April 11 apprehended Kha A Cha from the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh who illegally transported nine bricks of heroine (about 3.24 kg) to Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.
With information provided by customs officers of Quang Ninh province, customs and police forces of Bac Ninh followed Kha for several days and arrested him after he caught a taxi from My Dinh station in Hanoi to Phu Khe commune in Tu Son town.

At the police office, Kha, born in 1974 and residing in Thong Ang village, Hang Kia commune, Mai Chau district in Hoa Binh, confessed that he was hired by a man in Hang Kia to transport the heroin for VND5 million per heroine brick.
Kha has been handed over to the Police Office for Drug Crime Investigation for further investigation.
