This is Altantsetseg’s first visit to Vietnam as Montsame Director General.

Both sides expressed their pleasure at bilateral cooperative activities such as the exchange of information and journalists.

Such a good relationship has helped bring news and information about the two countries to their people more rapidly and accurately, they said.

The two agencies’ journalists have also had opportunities to share professional experience and explore the land and people of the other country, thus, contributing to enhancing cooperation and friendship between the two nations, they added.

Both host and guest touched upon possibilities to expand the exchange of photos and television news coverage in the near future, in the context that multi media is the inevitable development in news agencies to meet customers’ diversified demands for information.

On the same day, Altantsetseg was received by Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association (VJA) Ha Minh Hue.

Hue introduced his guest to the activities of the VJA and the development of the Vietnamese press. He expressed his wish to expand cooperation with the Mongolian Journalists Association in the future.

Altantsetseg committed to work as a bridge between the two associations so that they could implement cooperative activities at an early date.

During her stay in Vietnam, Altantsetseg will visit the northern province of Quang Ninh to hold talks with the provincial leaders.
