Giant lantern festival in Hanoi

VOV.VN - The 2016 Vietnam-Korea Giant Lantern Festival opened on December 3 at the Lepare Trade Centre in the Gaduma City Urban Area.


The event features 40 giant lanterns that symbolize the three dimensions of Vietnamese and Korean culture – Peace, Love and Hope.


The festival spans an area of 50,000 square meters.

The event introduces spots of sightseeing around the world,

and Santa Claus.







The festival is transpiring through January 22, 2017.

During the event, K-pop music concerts, traditional musical instrument performances and cover dancing events and games take place. 

In addition, roughly 200 exhibition booths offer visitors food, entertainment and shopping opportunities.
