The Ministry of Communication, Transport, Post and Construction of Laos and the Ministry of Post and Telematics of Vietnam held a workshop in Vientiane on March 12 to exchange experiences in the field.

Addressing the event, Lao Deputy Minister of Communication, Transport, Post and Construction Sithong Thongkeo stressed that the workshop was a good opportunity for Laos to learn about Vietnam's experiences in developing the post, telecom and IT sectors to integrate itself into the region and the world.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Post and Telematics Nguyen Thanh Hung expressed his hope to further enhance the traditional relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in developing and reforming the post, telecom and IT sectors of each country.

At the workshop, participants discussed regulations and the management of post, telecom and IT, as well as WTO accession.
