Trapped workers successfully rescued
(VOV) -Twelve trapped workers were successfully evacuated from a collapsed tunnel at the construction site of Da Dang-Da Chomo hydropower plant in Central Highlands Lam Dong province on December 19 afternoon thanks to great rescue efforts.
Two of them were sent to a nearby hospital while others are currently in stable health condition. Family members and friends of the trapped workers who had been waiting for a long time outside burst into tears when they saw the first worker successfully being rescued.
Doctors and more than 10 ambulances were available at the scene of the hydropower plant accident to deal with emergency cases.
