Vientiane Deputy Mayor Bunchan Sinthavoong on July 4 received Hanoi's Police Chief Colonel Nguyen Duc Nhanh, who arrived in the Lao capital on July 1.

During the reception, the Lao Deputy Mayor said the Vietnamese delegation's visit contributed to strengthening political and security co-operation between Vietnam and Laos in general and between the two countries' capitals in particular.

The two sides informed each other of the situation in their respective cities and exchanged experience in protecting the peaceful life of citizens.
