A delegation of railway specialists from the UK is visiting Vietnam between June 3 and 7 to showcase British expertise in the railway sector.

The UK Trade and Investment team will identify areas where Vietnam needs assistance from British companies in both mainline and metro systems. The mission comprises representatives of UK Trade and Investment, Brecknell Willis, Invensys Rail Systems and Railway Industry Association.

The UK has extensive experience in the rail sector and is delivering rail projects around the world.

In highly competitive markets, the flexible approach of the UK rail sector means that when market conditions or technical requirement change, the UK rail industry is able to respond quickly and effectively to offer authorities, operators, system integrators and manufacturers the best possible solution in the shortest period of time, a representative said.
