4 killed in multi-vehicle pileup on National Highway 2

VOV.VN - Four people died and several others were injured Monday (May 15) after a passenger bus, car and motorbike collided on National Highway 2 in the province of Tuyen Quang, northwest of Hanoi.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, the accident occurred at about 7:45am in the commune of Thai Son in the district of Ham Yen. Some people were trapped in their vehicles as a result.

Three passengers were seriously injured and transported by ambulance to a local hospital, said the Vietnam News Agency.

The crash forced the highway to close in both directions. Local police officials remain on the scene investigating the cause of the massive crash.
