In photos: Day 2 of PM Phuc’s Japan visit

VOV.VN - On the second day of his official visit to Japan, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the Vietnam Investment Promotion Conference and International Conference on the Future of Asia in Tokyo.

PM Phuc met representatives of major Japanese enterprises.

The Government leader said it is a good time for Japanese enterprises to invest in Vietnam now as the two countries have reached high-level agreements on boosting cooperation. 


Mr Phuc met leaders of Mazda,

and President and CEO of Route Inn Katsutoshi Nagayama.

The Cabinet leader delivered an important speech at the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia.

He suggested three measures to deal with challenges in Asia.


PM Phuc then dialogued with participants on several contents of the conference, including the role of the ASEAN Economic Community, environmental pollution challenges to Vietnam and the country’s socio-economic development.

On the afternoon of June 5, PM Phuc and PM Shinzo Abe attended the Vietnam Investment Promotion Conference in Tokyo, the largest of its kind with the participation of 1,600 delegates, including 200 Vietnamese businesspeople.

The PM witnessed the signing of contracts and agreements with a total value of US$22 billion between Vietnamese and Japanese ministries, sectors and localities.


Mr Phuc met with Tadamori Oshima, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan.
