German Group Bauma held a press conference in HCM City on July 4 to introduce the Bauma Fair ’07 to be held in Munich city from April 23-29, 2007 and call on Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the event.

Covering an area of more than 500,000sq.m, the fair will showcase machinery and services using the latest technology in construction, construction materials and mining industry. As many as 2,800 companies from 50 countries around the world are expected to join the fair.

Vice executive of the group, Eugen Egelenmeir said Vietnam is developing infrastructure construction and it needs a great deal of construction and mining equipment. He expressed hope that Vietnamese enterprises would attend and explore co-operation opportunities at the fair.

Bauma has recently established its rep office in Hanoi.
