HCM City to host 19th Vietnam Film Festival
(VOV) - The 19th Vietnam Film Festival themed “Vietnamese movie-Nation, humanity, creativity, integration” is set to get underway in Ho Chi Minh City on December 1-5.
The event, co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, aims to honour local cinematographic works which contain traditional characteristics, humanity and creativity.
Five categories will take part in the event namely movies, videos, documentaries, scientific films and cartoons.
The organization board will offer the titles “Best director”, “Best actor”, “Best actress”, and “Most favourite film”, to winners in each category.
