Storm weakens, causes rough seas

(VOV) - Tropical storm Kajiki has weakened into a low pressure after heading towards the East Sea on February 1.

The National Hydro-meteorological Forecasting Centre reports at 02.00am on February 2 Kajiki was churning through the north-eastern part of the East Sea, packing winds of less than 39km per hour.

The low pressure is forecast to move west, further weaken into a low depression and dissipate in a couple of hours.

It will cause rough seas in the eastern part of the East Sea, including the north-eastern part of the Truong Sa archipelago.
