Hanoi, Cape Town bolster cooperation

(VOV) -A score of measures were touched upon by Vietnam Ambassador to South Africa Le Huy Hoang and Executive Deputy Mayor of Cape Town city Ian Neilson at a recent meeting with a view to increasing cooperation between Hanoi and Cape Town city.

Deputy Mayor Neilson affirmed Cape Town’s willingness to expand cooperation with Hanoi across a variety of fields of trade, investment and urban development management experience sharing.
The city is dealing with necessary procedures to speed up the early signing of a cooperative agreement with Hanoi.

Ambassador Hoang in turn described the capital city as an economic hub experiencing positive economic growth over the past few years and a good tourism and investment destination, hoping that

cooperation between Hanoi and Cape Town will contribute to fostering the friendship between the two countries.

Cape Town city is the second largest economic hub in South Africa and a leading tourism destination with its famous sites- Cape of Good Hope and Table Mountain- attracting 10 million holiday makers every year.
