Chairman Trong, who is also AIPA-31 President, made the statement at a conference on the Vietnamese NA delegation’s preparation for AIPA-31, held in Hanoi on September 19.

This is the second time the Vietnam NA has hosted the AIPA.

The legislative chief said AIPA-31 will focus on issues of regional concern and expressed his belief that with the host country’s efforts and AIPA members’ support and consensus, AIPA-31 will be a success.

AIPA-31 is expected to leave good impressions on international friends of Vietnam – a peaceful and stable nation with a unique and diversified culture, warm and hospitable people and a dynamic and renovating parliament, said the NA leader.

Chairman Trong requested the Vietnamese NA delegation and relevant agencies to closely coordinate with one another to fulfill their assignments, contributing to the success of AIPA-31 and leaving Vietnam’s imprint on AIPA’s development.
