President hosts sponsors of APEC Economic Leaders’ Week
President Tran Dai Quang partly attributed the success of the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting to contributions by 35 domestic and foreign special, main and co-sponsors during a reception in Hanoi on November 13.

He lauded thorough preparations for the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week which he described as a leading economic forum in the region and the world with a mission to further boost economic-trade-investment among APEC member economies via trade facilitation.
Via the event, Vietnam’s stature has been improved in international arena, he said, adding that the success of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week and the APEC Vietnam Year 2017 has opened a future with opportunities in economic connectivity and free trade promotion.
The host expressed his wish that the success spirit of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week and the APEC Vietnam Year 2017 will be spread nationwide to further enhance economic and trade ties between Vietnam and countries.
