Vietnam won another bronze medal on November 26, closing the 16th Asian Games (ASIAD) with one gold, 17 silver and 15 bronze medals, ranking 23rd in the medal tally after 13 days of competition in Guangzhou, China.
The bronze was earned by chess players Hoang Thi Bao Tram, Pham Thi Thao Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Thanh An, Nguyen Thi Mai Huong and Nguyen Thi Tuong Van in the women’s team event.
The majority of medals belonged to China with 192 gold, 113 silver and 96 bronze, followed by the Republic of Korea and Japan.
