Samsung gift stationery to 3,500 needy students

VOV.VN -As many as 3,500 school stationery gifts, worth VND1.8 billion, were presented to impoverished students in Thai Nguyen province on November 8.

The programme was funded by Samsung Korea, Samsung Vietnam, and Korea Food for the Hungry International.

At the handover ceremony, Nguyen Van Hung, deputy director of Thai Nguyen provincial Department of Education and Training, thanked Samsung for such meaningful gifts which, he said, will contribute to encouraging disadvantaged students to study harder and perform well their school duties.
