A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on a feasibility study and pilot run of an IT solutions project was inked between US-based Simdesk Technologies and the Sai Gon Hi-tech Park on April 18.

The MoU will develop a pilot run for some 1,000 users, with a focus on public Government services, education and consumers (including small and medium enterprises). A feasibility study will be conducted over the next five to six months and the outcomes will show whether consumers and Government users can effectively employ Simdesk products.

The Simdesk worldwide server, located in Houston, Texas, provides on-demand communications, collaboration and personal services instantly to any internet-capable computer or personal device.

Simdesk solutions have been applied in the US, Japan and Brazil, he added.
