The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on February 5 began selling e-tickets for several of its domestic routes, making it more convenient for its customers.

The e-ticketing programme is applied to all flights between Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi-Da Nang and HCM City-Da Nang.

The airline company is selling e-tickets via its representative offices based in Hanoi, the central city of Da Nang and HCM City. As of March 1, e-tickets will be available at the airline's sale agent offices.

Passengers for international flights will get access to this service starting in the second quarter of 2007.

Vietnam Airlines will sell all e-tickets via its network by late 2007 in conformity with the International Civil Aviation Organisation regulations.

Pacific Airlines, a joint stock carrier, also announced that it will begin issuing e-tickets on February 13.
