“Central and Central Highlands regions on the way to integration” is the theme of the South-central and Central Highlands regions photo festival which opened in Nha Trang City, central coastal Khanh Hoa province on July 8.
On display were 139 works from 84 photographers, featuring the daily life and socio-economic development in the south-central and Central Highlands regions. The judging panel presented one first prize, 4 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes to outstanding works from Da Nang City, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces.
Chu Chi Thanh, president of the Vietnam Artistic Photographers Association, said awarded works have reflected the daily life of local people, and socio-economic achievements of the regions in the integration process.
At the festival, many young and talented photographers have been identified, contributing to the already large contingent of Vietnamese photographers.
