Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Ministers of Industry and Trade, Public Health, Transport, and Finance will take part in the 12th National Assembly’s eighth question-and-answer section from November 22-24.

The Minister of Industry and Trade has received 37 questions on the trade deficit, the planning process for building thermal power plants, measures to ensure the safety of hydro-electric power plants, the current shortage of electricity, and the connections between producing, distributing, and transmitting electricity.

Minister of Public Health Nguyen Quoc Trieu will answer questions concerning the overload in central and provincial general hospitals, the development of the pharmaceutical industry, hospital fee increases, and management skills to control epidemics.

The PM and the Minister of Transport Ho Nghia Dung will focus on bauxite exploitation in the Central Highlands, the Vinashin scandal, the ongoing research on the express railway, State budget management, the control of public debt, and issues related to traffic jams and accidents.

On November 24, the NA will consider the revised laws on the insurance business, the election of National Assembly deputies and People’s Council members, and Securities, as well as a resolution on agricultural land use taxes.

The session is scheduled to close on November 26.
