Vu Hong Nam, Vietnam’s Consul General in Sydney, said the Gala night in New South Wales University was an opportunity for Vietnamese students in Australia to meet and get better informed.
“They also have a chance to look forwards to their native land, forging their determination to achieve their dreams and contribute to national development and prosperity,” he added.
Gala night-2008 was one of a series of cultural and sports activities held annually by Vietnamese students in Australia.
