Xmas greetings to Catholics in southern Dong Nai province

Truong Thi Mai, head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation and leaders of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, visited the Xuan Loc Diocese in the southern province of Dong Nai on December 21 ahead of Christmas.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mai extended Christmas wishes to Bishop of the Diocese, Dinh Duc Dao, dignitaries and followers in the region.

She also extended her thanks to dignitaries for leading Catholic followers in Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces to participate in patriotic movements.

Mai briefed the Catholic dignitaries on the nation’s recent achievements in socio-economic and cultural development, security, national defence and external affairs, saying that the Catholic community nationwide has made significant contributions to these achievements.

Bishop Dinh Duc Dao pledged that he and other dignitaries will continue guiding local religious followers to lead a good life.
