Tropical cyclone Maysak enters East Sea
(VOV) - Super Typhoon Maysak is on track to enter the East Sea on April 5, according to the Central Meteorology Hydrology Forecast Centre.
The centre said the eye of storm on April 3 was about 1,000km east of Luzon, the largest island in the Philippines.
The National Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention has issued an alert for millions along the coastline from Quang Ninh to Quang Ngai to prepare for the storm.
Fishermen have been advised not to venture out to sea and to monitor the storms development closely.
