Two athletes, Nguyen Ha Thanh and Pham Thi Ha Thanh, have qualified for the final stage of the competition.

Nguyen Ha Thanh competed against more than 400 athletes and he earned 16,133 points to rank 5^th in the men’s pommel horse event.

In the same event for women, Pham Thi Ha Thanh finished the qualifying round with 14,216 points to also place 5^th.

This year’s championships has attracted athletes from 86 countries and territories around the world. It serves as the first qualifying round for the 2012 London Olympics.
