The charity run which was formerly known as the Terry Fox Run is an annual activity organised by the Embassy of Canada in cooperation with other organisations in the capital city raised 1 billion VND (50,000 USD) for poorly children in the National Hospital of Paediatrics, Hanoi Heart Hospital and Heart Beat Vietnam.

Over the past ten years, more than 43,000 people have supported the event raising VND3 billion which has been spent on cancer research and supporting children who suffer from cancer or heart disease.
