ASEAN Community Women’s Circle of Hanoi debuts
(VOV) - Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds an inauguration ceremony of the ASEAN Community Women’s Circle of Hanoi (AWCH) on August 11 marking the regional group’s 48th founding anniversary and 20 years celebrating Vietnam’s ASEAN membership.

Present at the event were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Vietnam Women’s Union President, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa and representatives from ASEAN member states. |

Mme. Nguyen Nguyet Nga stressed that the AWCH aims to push solidarity among ASEAN members, while reinforcing the friendships between ASEAN countries and international friends. |

| Nga said that in the near future, the AWCH will launch various activities such as culture-sports exchange, fact-finding tours and food festivals. |
