Vietnam Embassy participates in Norway’s biggest festival
(VOV) - Vietnam Embassy personnel have participated in the largest international festival of its kind in Scandinavia, which presented over 150 events in the fields of music, theatre, dance and the performing arts.
With a focus on Nordic impulses, the two-week festival in Trondheim, Moss and Oslo aimed to be a gathering place for creative and performing artists from Nordic and participating countries, celebrating their diversity and differences.
Vietnam Ambassador to Norway Le Thi Tuyet Mai was on hand at the festival in Oslo to hand out prizes to winners of song and dance competitions.
The Embassy and support personnel also manned stalls displaying cultural information and traditional handicraft products.
Norway has a total population of 5.1 million, 650,000 of whom are immigrants (accounting for 13% of the population) from all continents around the globe.
