Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh on December 16 granted the Friendship Orders to six Russian oil and gas experts who have made many contributions to the Vietnam Oil and Gas sector and have helped strengthen friendship between the two nations.
The recipients included Archem Garibyan, Vice Director General of Russian oil group Zarubezhneft, Mikhail Sobolev, Vice Director General of the Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas Enterprise (Vietsovpetro), Valery Klinchev, Director General of joint venture Rusvietpetro, Valery Petrenko, Director General of joint venture Vietgazprom, Vasyl Slabous, Vice Director General of this company, and Sergey Mikhailenko, another director of the same company.
At the ceremony held in Moscow, the director general of the PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC) and his counterpart from Russia’s Zarubezhneftstroimontazh signed an agreement on future cooperation.
Meanwhile, the PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation and Russia’s gas insurance group Sogaz signed a framework agreement on insurance cooperation.
