Vietnamese culture celebrated in Prague
(VOV) - The Overseas Vietnamese Association in Prague organized a special art performance on October 30 hoping to cultivate a sense of pride, unity and nationality in expatriates residing in the capital city.
At the event native artists performed traditional folk songs praising the homeland and its people and the audience participated in folk dances as well as chau van (spiritual singing).
“The program brought many wonderful moments,” said Chair Hoang Dinh Thang of the association.
He said the association has always supported and encouraged cultural arts activities aimed at preserving traditional ethnic culture and specifically at youth.
At the event, many cultural books were awarded to the young in attendance.
