The Netherlands Government has agreed to provide VND5 billion for a project to prevent Vietnamese juveniles from committing crimes and help them reintegrate into their local community.

An agreement to this effect has been signed between the Plan Vietnam Organisation, the Ministry of Public Security and re-education schools.

The project will be carried out at four reeducation schools in Ninh Binh, Dong Nai and Long An provinces, and Da Nang city.

The aim is to help these schools improve their care, reeducation and vocational training of inmates so that they can later reintegrate easily into their local community.
